Lou was a Captain in the US Marine Corps and went on to play an integral role in the founding of the Israeli Air Force.
Lou used his extensive management, operations, and marketing experience to advise on successful outcomes.
Lou held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the NBA's San Diego Clippers basketball team and co-produced the movie Iron Eagle and three other films. Lou worked in management with the Semiconductor Division of Hughes Aircraft Company and with American Electronics.
Lou was a Fighter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and holds the rank of Captain.
Lou flew with the Israel Air Force in the 1948 War of Independence, leading the the first flight mission with Ezer Weizman, Modi Alon, and Eddie Cohen. The 101st Squadron of the Israel Air Force has become one of the most advanced squadrons in the world.
Lou holds an MBA from UCLA Executive Management Program.
Lou is one of the central characters in the documentary about the Israel Air Force in the film Above and Beyond produced by Nancy Spielberg and released in 2014.
