Nano Retina, Briefman, Objet among ‘most creative’ companies

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

(TheMarker ) Three Israeli companies made CNBC’s list of the 25 “most creative” companies in Europe for 2010, thanks to the “disruptive force” of their ideas. They are Objet Geometries, which is developing technology to make three-dimensional printers (think – you enter the data for a plastic hamster and the machine produces a 3-D plastic hamster, or perhaps more helpfully, creates prototypes of devices you invent ); Nano Retina, which hopes to restore sight to the blind through miniaturized implants; and Briefman, which is developing technology to zip – condense – video images (“watch 24 hours of footage in one minute” ). http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/business/markets-in-brief-1.300476
