Ekomini teaches kids how to save money through an interactive treasure chest
Sunday, June 13th, 2010When your child drops a coin through the slot, the box recognizes the denomination and sends the number to the computer, which keeps a running total. Kids can use the computer to check their balance. The Ekomini also allows you to access a website featuring a virtual town called Ekominiville populated by characters who can help kids manage their money. Koni, for example, helps your child save up for something she wants by helping him distinguish between needs and wants, while Mike shows your child how to make even more money with the money she saves. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2010/06/ekomini-teach-kids-how-to-save-money-treasure-chest-interactive-game.html
