Library solutions co Ex Libris in Finnish National Library deal

Ex Libris Ltd. will provide its library automation solutions to the National Library of Finland. The company did not disclose the size of the deal. The company will provide its Primo discovery and delivery solution and the Primo Central mega-index of scholarly materials solutions, which will provide a unified interface for the entire country’s collections and electronic resources. Ness wins Czech electric co deal

IT services company Ness Technologies Ltd. has won a $12.2 million deal to deliver a dispatching system for Czech electricity utility CEZ Distribution a.s. Volkswagen Group seeking technology in Israel

The Volkswagen Group contacted Herzliya-based Beilink – Business Foreign Affairs several months ago, requesting assistance in finding new technologies in the automotive field among Israeli companies. Beilink is now conducting an initial mapping of the companies in the automotive field in Israel, which it will present to Volkswagen. Calcalist also reported that ties between Volkswagen and Beilink are exclusive, meaning that other companies may not represent the automotive giant in its quest for technologies in Israel.  http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3923311,00.html

Online gaming co 888 looks to France

Online gaming company 888 Holding plc has received a license from France’s gaming regulator, Autorité de Régulation des Jeux en Ligne, to operate poker betting websites.
